Menu

Having worked in Spain for over 20 years, our Head Chef Nicolas Betts is embracing the Latin theme in his new tapas-style menu.

We’ve incorporated the best local produce into our new menu. With Pinchitos, Gambas Al Ajilio, Croquetas de Jamon Serrano and Tortilla con Chorizo to name only a few of the delicious additions.

Not forgetting our Irish roots, our menu continues to give a nod to the medieval history of the building and incorporates traditional Irish dishes with a Mediterranean influence.

Our menu embraces a variety of innovative small plates, perfect for sharing and showcasing the best of West of Ireland produce, from the firm favourite “Tequila Lime Chicken Sandwich” to the “Estafado” – a braised slow-cooked Irish beef vegetable stew.

We also have a wide variety of non-meat and vegan options available.
Our menu is available seven days a week in the heart of the Latin Quarter

HEAD CHEF NICOLAS BETTS

Head Chef Nick’s flair for food started at a young age, growing up in the Yorkshire countryside.

On completing his formal studies he worked as a personal chef and catering consultant before later beginning his adventure abroad in Argenton-Sur-Creuse, in France.

He continued on to the Canary Islands where he settled for over 20 years with his young family. There he learned more about the Spanish way of living and eating while cooking for visitors from all over Europe, as well as teaching cuisine techniques to students from Northern Europe.

Nick and his team are passionate about tasty, wholesome food and seeking out the finest in regional and local produce as the essence of his dishes.

He enjoys the challenge of creating great food experiences and is excited with the wide variety that Galway has to offer.
